Dr. Leonard Berk


Lenny BerkDr. Leonard Berk
is a 1977 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine and is licensed in New York, Virginia and Ohio.  He has been the owner of Cortlandt Animal Hospital since 1981 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Berk does Ultrasounds and other area’s of experience are laser surgery and use of video otoscope.

 

Dr. Mary Wallace

Dr. Mary Wallace

Dr. Mary Wallace received her B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1995 and is a 1999 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine.  She, then, completed an internship in medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in NYC.  She has had post graduate training in Laser surgery and the use of the MedRx video otiscope.  Her special interests include surgery and exotic pet medicine.

 

Suzanne Madison-Sudol, L.V.T.,

Suzanne Madison-Sudol graduated and received her B.S. from Mercy College in 1988.  While attending Mercy, she completed an externship at Animal Medical Center and at New York Medical College.  She has been an employee at the animal hospital since 1981 and the Office Manager since 1993.

 

Wes ArtopeWes Artope

Wes Artope is the former Director of Operations at New York City's Center for Animal Care & Control. He also serves as a behavioral consultant, trainer and lecturer on animal care throughout the New York/Tri-state area and abroad. He is a licensed vet tech, certified lab animal technologist.

 

 

Dr. Wendy WestromDr. Wendy Westrom*

Dr. Wendy Westrom received a Master in Endocrinology from the University of Connecticut and a Veterinary Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  She completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in NYC and then spent 5 years as a veterinarian at the Bronx Zoo.  Though, Dr. Westrom returned to small animal medicine, she has maintained a special interest in exotics.  In the past 2 years she has completed training in Veterinary acupuncture as well as some advanced training in the use of Eastern and Western herbs in veterinary medicine.

*After serving over 13 years with Cortlandt Animal Hospital, Dr. Westrom is has taken a sabbatical. We wish her well and hope to see her again in the future.
